Tesla Introduces Cheaper Cybertruck Amid Sales Decline
Tesla has launched a more affordable dual-motor all-wheel-drive Cybertruck priced at $59,990, marking its cheapest offering yet. The new model features a 325-mile range, 7,500-pound towing capacity, and accelerates from 0-60mph in 4.1 seconds. However, it comes with reduced specifications, including textile seats and front-row-only heated seating.
In a parallel move, Tesla slashed the price of its high-end Cyberbeast model from $114,990 to $99,990. The company has also discontinued the 'Luxe Package,' which previously included Supervised Full Self-Driving and free Supercharger access.
Cybertruck sales in the U.S. plummeted to 20,237 units in 2025, a 50% drop from 2024 figures. The price cuts and new entry-level model appear to be strategic responses to waning demand for the polarizing electric pickup.
